STILL THAT BIRD IS SINGING

1. Picture in a Frame

(Erik Flaa & Georg Buljo)

they cut all the trees of Eden

that grew so wild and free

and the parts they kept exactly filled their needs

There is so much more left on the boards

that's cut and thrown away

you will only get the glimpse they want you to see

a constructed version of the scene

that happened once before

will come flashing back repeated fast and slow

who you think I am is based on facts

and thruth is what you've seen

shot from different angels hidden, high and low

can't give you all I've got but you'll have a part

cause I can't seem to get another start

but I will keep on trying

yes, I will keep on trying

and I have kept on since my picture found your frame

I look lost inside this picture

that someone made of me

in your mind I'm stuck as I appear on your wall

there is so much more behind the scenes

that you will never see

this is just a little tiny part of me

can't give you all I've got but you'll have a part

cause I can't seem to get another start

but I will keep on trying

yes, I will keep on trying

and I have kept on since my picture found your frame

2. Hello Movie House

(Erik Flaa & Georg Buljo)

I'm in the meadow

I'm on my back

it's dark and warm

I've taken my shoes off

it's a starlit night

I go back in time

lucky me got widescreen that surrounds me

hello movie house

the moon comes on as a teaser

for a movie to come

about a man who's gone (to the moon)

The Man comes on as a teacher

in a boring class

lost in time

later on the titles come with sunrise

hello movie house

I went to see this movie

with the director himself in the starring role

when he's changing reels he's shooting stars

that are getting older some are already gone

hoppers making soundtrack spinning round and round

I'm starstruck

3. Color for White

(Erik Flaa & Georg Buljo)

everyday green gets blue

everyday blue gets hurt

everyday she gets the dirt

everyday people sigh

everyday people slip

everyday we slide

everyday a lamb will lose its mother

the rainbow lose its color for white

everyday a truth is being altered

a child will catch his mother in lies

everyday looks can kill

everyday eyes don't find a place to rest or sight of land

everyday people die

everyday people smile

everyday they cry

everyday a lamb will lose its mother

the rainbow lose its color for white

everyday a truth is being altered

a child will catch his mother in lies

everyday a girl is getting married

everyday a man says goodbye

everyday a passion loses meaning

love will lose its feeling and fly

4. Gramophone Head

(Georg Buljo)

here I am circling around with just one focus point

that I'm stuck to as I spin around

and my head's getting troubled and I will go dizzy to bed

I get a headache

my body is thrown into gravity forces

because of this track that I'm in

and at this very point I can' jump or get off

I go around at the same place

record will break when I'm gone

while we wait for the big day

surround me surround me now

making waves making circles

put me to bed

gramophone head

my face is red I presume but I'm burried in black

and I couldn't care less cause I'm stuck on this track

I have no more control over what's going on

I haven't rested

since I slipped right out of the sleeve and the darkness

they take it for granted that I'm there for their sake

for their entertainment and joy

cuts its way hard through the surface

needle point hits where it's at

while we wait for the big day

surround me surround me now

making waves making circles

put me to bed

gramophone head

5. IOU

(Georg Buljo)

two out of five towns on the plain misbehave

then came the rain, the burning rain, the rain of fire

not fifty, not forty-five, not thirty people of a good kind

not twenty, not even ten, the two angels found only one

everybody's foolin' on the side

everyday got something to hide

tell me if there's something IOU

tell me if there's something IOU

tell me that you never wanted too

to push "undo"

Don't turn your head

don't wanna know what's going on

she threw her eyes at the city

got the looks like a lot of salt

everybody's foolin' on the side

everyday got something to hide

tell me if there's something IOU

tell me if there's something IOU

tell me that you never wanted too

to push "undo"

6. Another Day in the Park

(Erik Flaa & Georg Buljo)

I see a strong chain divide them

still it binds them

the king and the slave

they make a strange pair, this couple

in procession

obsessed by each other in a way

the grass and leaf's gently covered in white blankets

as the great gardener puts the park to bed for thge winter

the man and dog is

obsessed by each other in a way I never seen

this weird human behaviour

and it's hard to believe that it's only

another day in the park

he picks the dirt from his four-legged lord and master

his substitute for a child

how bad he wanted his own kids

the dog meets his need for consideration and care

see how the tail wags the dog

this weird human behaviour

and it's hard to believe that it's only

another day in the park

7. Even Transition

(Erik Flaa & Georg Buljo)

the fog is laying here in front of me

when I'm looking for the sun high above

something caught my eye

it made me feel like a blind

the things i used to do repeatedly

with bad conscience leaving marks

in my stomach, in my mind

I don't get that feeling anymore

guess I've followed the neon lights for too long

yes, I've followed the neon lights for too long

but where did it all go wrong

I guess it's just an even transition

it makes me feel like a blind

it makes me feel like a blind

8. Final Hour

(Erik Flaa)

I'm walking down an old path

with arms put in chains

two minutes left of this walk

before I reach the chair

as I'm lead into the chamber

I look into their eyes

the hate overwhelmes me

at last they're satisfied

still a bird in a tree is singing its song for me

the bird outside the window

is the last thing he can see

now he's strapped into an old chair

and a facemask covers him

on the verge of tears i remember

the life that I have lived

how I learned to ride my first bike

and how I killed an innocent man

still a bird in a tree is singing its song for me

and still that bird is singing
